Inga’s overall 2023 goal for Amberth is to maintain a similar number of clients while aiming for higher-value projects and more affluent and younger customers to reach £2,5 million in revenue.
To achieve this, Inga is looking for a creative and strategic resource that is reliable and can support her with the following challenge:
Move the brand and marketing communication from ad hoc to planned and relevant so that it connects with the targeted B2B and B2C audiences. The three main tasks are:
1. Complete and apply the refined brand guidelines in a coherent and consistent way.
2. Develop a deeper understanding of the new customer segments and their journey so that it is clear what they are looking for and how Amberth can uniquely service them.
3. Devise the brand and marketing communication strategy. That is the big picture of six to twelve months with three to four ideas in advance per month in an eight-week-rolling content calendar.
Approach
As an in-sourced brand and marketing person, Stephan would develop the strategy with Inga and help her guide the implementation and execution—either hands-on or overseeing her team, depending on the situation or task. However, the frequency and time required still need to be defined.
As a pilot project, we discussed a new and updated brochure for Amberth, which could include the sharpening of the brand, such as finalising the brand guidelines, mainly colours scheme and imagery, while overall maintaining the assets that exist, such as logo and typeface.

Successful Collaboration
For a successful execution of the projects, open and trusting cooperation is crucial and required. That also means that all shared information and developed results are treated confidentially. Due to our close and regular collaboration, it would only be necessary to document the essentials and not to create any further reporting. Any postponements or additional work will only take place after consultation.
